芸術で心を繋ぐ: 児童養護施設の子どもたちへの支援プロジェクト
日本では現在、様々な理由により家族と一緒に暮らすことのできない児童の数はおよそ３万人、施設の数は約６００。KUMA DAKKO PERFORMERSは、実績のあるニューヨークのブロードウェイダンサーによるダンスレッスンを児童養護施設の子どもたちに直接届けることを目的として設立されたプロジェクトです。私たちの使命は、単にダンスを教えることを超え、子どもたちの目を世界が持つ無限の可能性に向け、彼らを多様な経験へと導くことにあります。ダンスとパフォーマンスという普遍的な言語を通じて、子どもたちに喜び、自己表現の力、そして自信を植え付けることを目指しています。
Our initiative is dedicated to bringing the vibrant world of Broadway directly to the children in Japanese orphanages through professional dance lessons taught by accomplished Broadway dancers and actresses. Our mission goes beyond simply teaching dance; we aim to open the children’s eyes to the vast possibilities the world offers, encouraging a broader perspective and an openness to diverse experiences. Through the universal language of dance and performance, we seek to instill a sense of joy, self-expression, and confidence in these young hearts.

中央大学法学部卒。劇団四季にてライオンキング等に出演した後、ニューヨークに拠点を移す。アメリカ全土のプロフェッショナルシアターに出演した後、2015年にはブロードウェイミュージカル、ALLEGIANCEのオリジナルキャストとしてブロードウェイデビューを果たす。The King and I Miss Saigon, Bye Bye Birdie, Spelling Beeなど数々のミュージカル出演経験を持ち、2016年FRED AND ADELE ASTAIRE AWARDを日本人としては初めて受賞。2018年と2023年にはBroadwayWorld Regional Awards にノミネートされる。その他、Vegas Movie Awards (as best ensemble), Tagore International Film Festival (as Best Supporting Actress)を受賞。アメリカ長編映画、RUNNING FOR GRACEではハリウッド俳優のMatt Dillon （アカデミー賞 Nominee)の相手役Miss Hanabusaとして出演。2018年アメリカにて公開、現在米国のアマゾンプライムにて視聴が可能。 脚本家としては、The Los Angeles International Screenplay AwardsやThe ScreenCraft Animation Competitionなどの全米の脚本コンペティションでファイナリストに選ばれる。2021年には映画の制作会社、Kuma Dakko Productionsを設立。2023年、脚本と監督を勤めたTV Pilot、SPIRIT BOXが MICHEAUX FILM FESTIVAL (アメリカ、ロサンゼルス)にて OUTSTANDING DIGITAL SERIES を受賞する。現在Atchity Produtions (THE MEG, THE MEG 2 THE TRENCH) と共に展開を進めている。 SAG/AFTRA (全米の映像俳優ユニオン), AEA (全米の舞台俳優ユニオン), SDC (全米の舞台ディレクターと振付家のユニオン)に所属。
Born and raised in Hiroshima, Japan. Rumi graduated with a B.A. in law from the prestigious Chuo University. She moved to the U.S. and combined her brain and artistic ability by working as an actress and choreographer on the Broadway stage and in various regional theaters. Her credits include Allegiance, The King and I, The Lion King, Miss Saigon, Bye Bye Birdie, Spelling Bee, and many more productions. She is the winner of the Fred and Adele Astaire Award (2016): Outstanding Female Dancer Off-Broadway and a nominee for the BroadwayWorld Regional Awards (2018 and 2023): Best Choreographer. In 2018, Rumi appeared in the feature film Running For Grace as Miss Hanabusa, playing opposite Matt Dillon and Jim Caviezel. The film is now on Amazon Prime. In 2021, Rumi founded Kuma Dakko Productions in an effort to produce films that have authentic Japanese influences and inspirational messages.

群馬県出身。幼少期からバレエ、ピアノを学んだのち、ニューヨークに移住。アルビンエイリーアメリカンダンススクール、バレエアーツであらゆるジャンルのダンスを習得、1999年よりプロとして様々なミュージカルやバレエの舞台に出演する。2015年、リンカーンセンターシアター主催のリバイバルミュージカル「王様と私」(バートレット シェア演出、渡辺謙、ケリーオハラ主演)にてオリジナルキャストとしてブロードウェイデビュー、その年のトニー賞にも出演。歌唱参加したキャストアルバムが同じく2015年のエミー賞にノミネートされる。その後全米ツアーに２年間出演。「王様と私」に加え、「ミス サイゴン」、「ビッグリバー」、「サヨナラ」、「ピーターパン」、「メリーポピンズ」等、数多くの舞台経験を持つ。ビクトリアバレエシアターに所属、バレエ公演でのレパートリーは「ドンキホーテ」、「眠りの森の美女」、「くるみ割り人形」、「パキータ」、「白鳥の湖」など。ブロードウェイダンスセンター、ベイリッジバレエスクール、ヨランダ音楽学校、クイーンズバレエスクールではバレエ講師としても活躍中。
Michiko Takemasa is originally from Japan where she started dance at the age of 5. After coming to the United States, she studied at Alvin Ailey American Dance School. She has appeared in numerous musical theater and dance performances. Her theater credits include 2015’s Broadway revival of The King and I (Original cast, Lincoln Center Theater), directed by Bartlett Sher. As original cast, she performed for Tony awards and joined the recording of the cast album which was nominated for Emmy award’s Broadway cast recording album. Then she joined their first National Tour and performed througtout US first 2 years. Before Broadway, she appeared 10 different production’s of “The King and I” including 2005 National tour, and most recently, she played her favorite role of Eliza at La Mirada Theatre where she was associate choreographer as well. Other theater credits include Miss Saigon, Big River, Mary Poppins, Oliver, Fiddler on the roof, Sayonara, Peter Pan and many more. She also has danced with Victoria Ballet Theatre, The Kristin Lavransdatter Ballet, and SGI ballet. The repertory includes “Swan Lake”, “Paquita”, “Sleeping Beauty”, “Nutcracker”, “Don Quixote” etc. Michiko has recently appeared in TV pilot of “Sprit Box”. Michiko has taught ballet for Broadway Dance Center, Bay Ridge Ballet, and Yolanda’s Academy of music and dance. She is currently faculty at Queens School of Ballet.

奈良県出身。幼少期からバレエを始める。ジャズダンス、モダンダンス、ミュージカルシアターを学ぶために2007年にニューヨークへ渡米。ステップオンブロードウェイに留学し、2年目は奨学金も取得。様々なジャンルで、多くの振付家の作品に出演。 卒業後はナイニ•チェンダンスカンパニー、ハイディラツキーダンス、エスソダスダンスコレクティブ、ジェネラルミスシフダンスシアターに所属。スタテンアイランドバレエカンパニー、キャッツキルバレエシアター、ナシュビルシンホォニーではゲストアーティストとして出演。主なミュージカル作品は “王様と私”(ブロードウェイリバイバル全米ツアー、ラミラダシアター、モルツジュピターシアター)、”リトルマーメイド”、”メリーポピンズ”、”キャッツ”、”エルフ”、”ボディーガード”、”クリスマス・キャロル”、”さよなら” 。TV/FilmではCBS マダム•セクレタリー、スピリットボックスに出演。 多くのプロダクションでダンスキャプテン、振り付け助手も勤める。

ニューヨークにて非常に高く評価されているプロジェクトマネージャー。彼女の教育の基礎はネイバーフッド・プレイハウス・スクール・オブ・シアターで築かれ、さらにブラック・ネクサス（旧スーザン・バトソン・スタジオ）でロベルタ・ウォーラックとカール・バリーという著名なメンターの指導のもと、形成される。2003年、芸術監督としてThe Plug In Theater Companyを立ち上げ、東京とニューヨークにて革新的な演劇作品を創出し続けている。注目すべき作品の中には、"Blue Rose," "Hatsukoi," "Rhythm Method," "Tea," and "Zoo Story" が含まれます。
Jan Mizushima is an esteemed project manager whose educational foundation was laid at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theater and further sculpted at Black Nexxus (formerly Susan Batson Studio), under the guidance of renowned mentors Roberta Wallach and Karl Bury. As the innovative founder and artistic director of the Plug In Theater Company, Jan has been pioneering captivating theatrical productions in Tokyo and NYC since 2003, with notable works like "Blue Rose," "Hatsukoi," "Rhythm Method," "Tea," and "Zoo Story" under her belt.

Natsuko Hirano is originally from Fukuoka, Japan. Attended Santa Monica College, CA (Theatre A.A.) and American Musical and Dramatic Academy, NY (Musical Theatre certificate). Proud member of Actor’s Equity since 2015. She has performed various regional theaters in the U.S. Her favorite roles include: Victoria (Cats), Eliza (The King and I), Christmas Eve (Avenue Q) Junko (Yukio Mishima’s The Light House, English Premier). Off Broadway: Katsumi (Sayonaya), Jai (The Brother’s Paranormal, World Premier) with Pan Asian Repertory Theatre. Stage Reading: Yasuko ((An Audio Guide For) UnSung Snails and Heros with Manhattan Theatre Club), Rosie Ohara (Yellow Fever with Pan Asian Rep), Natsuko (American Spies and Other Homegrown Fable). She has appeared in various commercial and voice over projects, her most recent project includes Hellmann’s “Mayo Cat” Superbowl commercial VO.
